Chocollections // package design

The fifteen chocolates in this series each address a different random topic or experience. The instructor would assign the topic of each chocolate by drawing a random card. The card might say, “Design about a strange relative.” The challenge of the project was in bringing cohesiveness and clarity to disjointed concepts.

Corporate Kool-Aid // package design

This package design was a commentary piece on corporate greed. Corporate Kool-Aid comes in “4 flavors of compromise”—extortion, fabrication, bribery, and fraud.

Global Cooling Emergency Preserves // package design

In the 1970s the threat wasn't global warming; it was quite the opposite. News sources were warning of dropping temperatures that could mean dwindling agricultural output. This satirical package of jalapeno jam functions as emergency "preserves" within the context of the 1970s global cooling scare.
